ABOUT US ( The guide)
I was born in state of Pará, along the Tapajós River, in ITAITUBA city. Son of a goldminer lady and adopted by an indigenous woman and a carpenter, I have been dedicating myself on the survival in the Amazon forest. First, surviveing the fever ( The BOOM) of gold in the state of Pará and having the first English classes with the MISSIONARIES of different countries and churchs, to later, still a teenager, survive in the JUNGLE OF STONE, in the big cities, like Manaus, for example.
I decided later that the best thing was to live in the forest where I was born, the Amazon forest, and use all the knowledges that I learnt mainly with my mother- YES, MY MOTHER – to survive in the Amazon forest, and at the same tme I had to choose… live in the JUNGLE OF FOREST or in the JUNGLE OF SOTNE?
Living in the big city but at the same time what I really wanted was…to be in the forest, and learning more about the medicine, for example, I was really with no direction.
And the answer came one day, – when I was a bit over twenty years old – , walking along the ports ( Of the STONE FOREST) and saw a group of people talking about their experience of being in the JUNGLE and how good that was, those people were TOURISTS.
The insight was clear in my head, than I thought…“ Wow…I can guide people in the jungle, teach them about the forest and yet…be in the forest ”. That was perfect for me as be a guide meant ”live in the forest…make it a job… improve my skils and show it to everyone who want to take part of it”
AND HERE I AM
And here I am, living in the Amazon, guiding people from all over the world, making them have the the best view and experience possible, showing the roots of Amazon culture and the beauties of the its forest.
